How to cancel Medium
Steps
- On the Medium homepage, click your profile picture and choose Settings.
- In the Membership and payment section, click Cancel your membership.
You keep your membership benefits until the end of the billing cycle. If you bought through iTunes or Google Play, cancel in that store: uninstalling the app or deleting your Medium account does not cancel it, and you will still be charged.
Steps read from the service’s own help page on 2026-10-30. Links are for the US versions. Not affiliated with Medium.

Questions
How do I cancel Medium?
On the Medium homepage, click your profile picture and choose Settings. In the Membership and payment section, click Cancel your membership.
Does deleting the app or signing out cancel Medium?
Not by itself. Cancel in the account, billing or subscription settings of the place you pay, then keep the confirmation.
What if I pay for Medium through Apple, Google or another company?
You keep your membership benefits until the end of the billing cycle. If you bought through iTunes or Google Play, cancel in that store: uninstalling the app or deleting your Medium account does not cancel it, and you will still be charged.
How can I check that Medium will not charge me again?
Save the confirmation (a screenshot or the email) and check that the next charge date is gone. A few days later, check your statement. If you were charged anyway, contact the service with your confirmation.
Does Subrazor cancel Medium for me?
No. Subrazor does not cancel anything and does not contact Medium. It only keeps your dates and totals in one private list and can remind you before a trial or renewal date.
