How to cancel 1Password

Steps

  1. Sign in to your account on 1Password.com.
  2. Select Billing in the sidebar.
  3. Select Cancel subscription and follow the onscreen instructions. You may need to scroll down to see the button.

A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, then the account is frozen. You can start the subscription again at any time. If you started with an in-app purchase on Mac, iPhone, iPad or Android, you manage it with Apple or Google instead.

Does deleting the app or signing out cancel 1Password?

Not by itself. Cancel in the account, billing or subscription settings of the place you pay, then keep the confirmation.

What if I pay for 1Password through Apple, Google or another company?

How can I check that 1Password will not charge me again?

Save the confirmation (a screenshot or the email) and check that the next charge date is gone. A few days later, check your statement. If you were charged anyway, contact the service with your confirmation.
