How to cancel Todoist

Steps

  1. Log in to your Todoist account on todoist.com (the Subscription tab is in the web and desktop apps, not the mobile app).
  2. Click your avatar at the top left, then Settings, then Subscription.
  3. Click Cancel plan, choose a reason, then click Cancel subscription to confirm.

This is for a Pro subscription paid by card on todoist.com. If you are on a free Pro trial, Todoist lists separate steps called Cancel your Pro trial. For the App Store, go to Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Todoist, Cancel Subscription. Pro stays active to the end of the billing period, then the account moves to the free Beginner plan.

Does deleting the app or signing out cancel Todoist?

Not by itself. Cancel in the account, billing or subscription settings of the place you pay, then keep the confirmation.

How can I check that Todoist will not charge me again?

Save the confirmation (a screenshot or the email) and check that the next charge date is gone. A few days later, check your statement. If you were charged anyway, contact the service with your confirmation.
