How to cancel PlayStation Plus

Steps

  1. On the web, sign in to PlayStation Account Management and select Subscription.
  2. Select Cancel under the subscription you want to end.
  3. Or on PS5: Settings, Users and Accounts, Account, Payment and Subscriptions, Subscriptions, then Cancel Subscription.

PlayStation says the subscription is deactivated starting from the next payment date.

Does deleting the app or signing out cancel PlayStation Plus?

Not by itself. Cancel in the account, billing or subscription settings of the place you pay, then keep the confirmation.

What if I pay for PlayStation Plus through Apple, Google or another company?

How can I check that PlayStation Plus will not charge me again?

Save the confirmation (a screenshot or the email) and check that the next charge date is gone. A few days later, check your statement. If you were charged anyway, contact the service with your confirmation.
