How to cancel Match

Steps

  1. Log in and open Manage Subscription in your account settings (app, mobile web or desktop).
  2. Re-enter your password if asked, then complete every step to cancel. Canceling a subscription turns off auto-renewal.
  3. If you subscribed through Apple instead: open the App Store, tap your profile icon, tap Subscriptions, then Cancel Subscription and Confirm.

Canceling a free trial ends your access right away. Canceling your subscription is separate from canceling your account, which hides your profile and photos. Add-on features such as Private Mode are cancelled separately under Subscription Status.

Does deleting the app or signing out cancel Match?

Not by itself. Cancel in the account, billing or subscription settings of the place you pay, then keep the confirmation.

What if I pay for Match through Apple, Google or another company?

How can I check that Match will not charge me again?

Save the confirmation (a screenshot or the email) and check that the next charge date is gone. A few days later, check your statement. If you were charged anyway, contact the service with your confirmation.
